About us

We are a specialized family plant nursery of the Grants family “Daugmales Lilijas”, which is works in the hybridization, cultivation and sale of high-quality planting material of lilies, daylilies and tall bearded irises.

Our work is based on the 40-year selection experience, professional knowledge and true passion for decorative plants of the family visionary - breeder Gunt Grant, as a result of which at least 700 new varieties of lilies have been created. For his hybridizing work, Guntis Grants has received many awards from the lily breeders" society "Lilium Balticum" for outstanding exhibits at lily exhibitions, he has repeatedly received the traveling silver cup of the Latvian Lily Society given by the North American Lily Society for achievements in lily breeding, and in 2018 he was presented with the state award - the Cross of Recognition for his long-term work in the field of floriculture.

From hybridization to preparation of the plants - all processes are carried out with great care and responsibility to ensure healthy, strong and variety-appropriate plants. We pay special attention to the quality, durability and decorative properties of plants.

Our planting material is successfully grown not only in Latvia, but also in many other countries of the world - Estonia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Canada, USA, Norway, Great Britain and other places, which proves its quality and suitability mainly for gardens in the climatic conditions of Nordic countries.
